The captain's meeting is at 9:00. First round starts at 9:30. The last round will end between 4:45 and 5:00. Pizza will be provided at the awards ceremony after the last round. All teams will receive a team box at the captain's meeting.

Games are to 15. No win by 2. At soft cap (65 minutes) finish point, add two to the highest score, and play to that point total. At hard cap (75 minutes) finish point and whoever is ahead wins. Play one more point if the score is tied.

Make sure your team has submitted all paperwork to the UPA! (See below for information on what needs to be submitted.)

Directions to the fields:

Off exit take Right on RT 2.
3.5 miles later look for Central School Drive on Right (it is in the heart of the village of Williston).  Note that you can't see the fields from the road.
Take school drive around to the right and behind the school.  You will then see fields and parking.

The 2007 VT State Champs is a UPA sanctioned event. This means:

1) Every participating player must be a member of the UPA, or pay a one-time event fee. For information on how to join the UPA, visit this page. Youth membership costs $20 per year. The one-time event fee is $5.

2) All players must have a waiver on file with the UPA.

3) Every adult officially involved with the team must have a chaperone waiver on file with the UPA. All teams are required to have at least one adult chaperone, age 25 or older, with them at all times. It is strongly recommended that each team bring at least two chaperones.

4) A medical authorization form needs to be completed for each player. Each coach needs to have these forms on hand for the duration of the tournament. These forms will be checked at the captain's meeting on Saturday morning. These forms are an absolute requirement. You MUST bring them. DO NOT send them to the UPA.

5) All teams MUST submit their roster to the UPA by Friday, May 18th. There are three ways to submit a roster:
a) Print out the PDF version of the roster, complete it manually and mail it to the UPA.
b) Open the Excel version of the roster, complete it electronically and email it to the UPA.
c) Use the online rostering system to submit your roster online. Player's names and UPA ID#'s are required to do this. The 2007 VT Champs is now ACTIVE in the UPA's online rostering system.

6) Every player that pays the one-time event fee instead of joining the UPA must submit one-time event & waiver form to the UPA.

Event materials (waivers, chaperone forms, one-time event forms, rosters) should be sent to:

UPA, Attn: Sanctioning
4730 Table Mesa Drive, Ste J200
Boulder, Colorado 80305

Rosters can be emailed to: Melanie Byrd (Melanie at hq.upa.org)

A registration checklist can be printed off at this page. The UPA's outline of the entire process can be found right here. Note: Even though the UPA allows for materials to be submitted to the UPA up until 3 days before the event, I am requiring all materials to be submitted by May 18th. Start this process now.

I highly recommend using the online rostering system. It's ridiculously easy to use and is super helpful if you're participating in multiple UPA sanctioned events during the year since it allows you to duplicate rosters with one click. If you're not going to use the online rostering system, you MUST submit your rosters directly to the UPA, NOT to me. Also, please keep in mind that rosters need to be at the UPA by Friday, May 18th at the absolute latest. On Monday, May 21st I am going to get a roster master list from the UPA. Only players on that master list will be allowed to play in the tournament. This is a firm deadline, so please, please, please get all of your paperwork in to the UPA as soon as possible.

If you have any questions at all about the process, please don't hesitate to call (802.748.9857) or email (jseamon at gmail dot com) me.
